Warning Against Those Who Declare Mu'awiyah ibn Abi Sufyan (may Allah be pleased with him) a Disbeliever

The Shaykh : And I am here inserting a parenthetical remark. Today, in your land, there are those who claim to belong to Islam and who claim lineage to Quraysh, to Banu Hashim, and to the lineage of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him), who say that Mu'awiyah is among the people of the Fire. This is the one who carried Islam to whatever lands Allah willed, to Cyprus, and some of those who claim to belong to Islam in this age rule that he is in the Fire. This is a parenthetical remark.
