Does the imam compensate for the follower's mistake if there is evidence?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh: Yes.

The questioner : Peace be upon you and Allah's mercy.

The Shaykh : And upon you be peace, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.

The questioner : How are you, our Shaykh?

The Shaykh : You are welcome.

The questioner : If Allah wills, well?

The Shaykh : Praise be to Allah, I am well.

The questioner: O Shaykh, if you would be so kind, I have some questions if you would be so kind.

The Shaykh: Go ahead.

The questioner: Does the imam compensate for the follower's mistake if there is evidence?

The Shaykh: Of course, the imam, as the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
The imam is a guarantor الإمام ضامن
And how many, how many hadiths there are in which the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) made a mistake.

The questioner: Yes.

The Shaykh: Then he prostrated and the people prostrated with him, and there must be someone behind him who makes a mistake. Therefore, in the Sunnah, in addition to the hadith mentioned earlier, there is nothing that obligates the one who made a mistake among the followers to perform the prostration for forgetfulness specifically by himself,
The imam is a guarantor الإمام ضامن
and the matter ends there.

The questioner: All right.
