The Shaykh : We are still discussing the hadith Sahih Muslim 2947a in which we spoke about the three preceding signs: the rising of the sun from the west, the smoke, and the Dajjal. Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: and the beast of the earth. This is the one whose mention came in the Noble Qur'an: [An-Naml 27:82] Regarding this beast, nothing has come in the authentic Sunnah that is more than what is contained in this hadith along with the mentioned verse. The summary of the matter is that it is a sign of the Hour. As for what is mentioned in some books that collect whatever is said of hadith, whether authentic or not, one should not rely on any of that. For example, here in an explanation of *Al-Raghba wa al-Ra'bah* in the modern era, strange descriptions are mentioned based on weak hadiths. For instance, it says it has four legs, fuzz, feathers, and two wings, and it is said to have the head of a bull, and so on. All of this, or all of these descriptions, is not authentic from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) except what I hinted at earlier, that it is among the signs of the Hour. For example, what is authentic from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is Sahih Muslim 158 Also, in this hadith, there is nothing more than that it is among the major signs of the Hour. In another hadith, the rising of the sun and the beast were mentioned, and it contained this benefit. He (peace be upon him) said: Sunan Abi Dawud 4310Sahih (Al-Albani) If the sun rises from the west before the emergence of the beast, then the emergence of the beast will follow it, or the reverse: if the beast emerges before the sun rises, then the sun will rise from the west immediately after it.
This is all that can be said about the beast of the earth, and anything beyond that is mere conjecture and opinion that does not benefit the truth in any way.
Hasten to do good deeds before six things happen: the rising of the sun from the west, the smoke, the Dajjal, the beast and (the death) of one of you or the general turmoil.

وإذا وقع القول عليهم أخرجنا لهم دابة من الأرض تكلمهم أن الناس كانوا بآياتنا لا يوقنونWhen three things appear faith will not benefit one who has not previously believed or has derived no good from his faith: the rising of the sun in its place of setting, the Dajjal, and the beast of the earth.
