Is it permissible to follow the reciter on the radio during prayer, whether it is obligatory or voluntary, while stopping the recitation during bowing and prostration?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : The questioner says: Is it permissible for me to follow a reciter on the radio during prayer, whether it is obligatory or voluntary, while stopping the recitation during bowing and prostration?

The Shaykh : It appears that this is not permissible, because listening is only for the recitation of the imam. As for listening to anything other than the imam’s recitation, this is a distraction from the prayer with what is not prescribed. It is obligatory for her to recite for herself and to turn off the radio so that it does not disturb her.

The questioner : May Allah reward you with good.
