The Shaykh : Now there is a chapter that corresponds to that chapter, titled "Encouraging hope and having a good opinion of Allah (Exalted and Majestic is He), especially at the time of death". He stated that the first hadith is good in its chain of narration. It is narrated from Anas that he said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say:
Allah the Exalted said: O son of Adam, as long as you call upon Me and hope in Me, I will forgive you for what you have done, and I do not care. O son of Adam, if your sins reached the clouds of the sky, then you sought forgiveness from Me, I would forgive you. O son of Adam, if you came to Me with a full measure of the earth in sins, then you met Me not associating anything with Me, I would come to you with a full measure of it in forgiveness.
" Al-Tirmidhi narrated it and said, "It is a good hadith." He said, "Qirab al-ardh" (with a kasrah on the qaf and a dammah on the r) is the more famous term; it means what fills it to the brim... It is known among hadith scholars that it is called a hadith qudsi. A hadith qudsi is any statement that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) attributes to his Lord (Blessed and Exalted is He) and which is not Qur'an. So it is the speech of Allah, but this speech is not Qur'an that is recited.
