The Shaykh’s remarks on the chain of narration of the hadith and his commentary on al-Mundhiri’s words.

The Shaykh : In this hadith, there is a discussion regarding its chain of narration that the author pointed out, but he concluded that the hadith is hasan, meaning it is established at a level below the level of authenticity. This level is known among hadith scholars as the level of hasan. The reason is that it contains a man named Ja'far ibn Sulayman al-Dab'i. Although he is one of the narrators in Muslim, some scholars, such as al-Daraqutni and others, have spoken about him regarding his memory. In reality, when a researcher studies the biography of this narrator, Ja'far ibn Sulayman, he finds this criticism of weakness in him. However, this does not invalidate his hadith or place it in the category of weak hadiths that cannot be used as evidence and whose narration is not permissible unless their weakness is clarified. Rather, his hadith is downgraded from the level of authenticity to the level of hasan. But I personally indicated and marked this hadith in this book as authentic, because I found a corroborating narration for it. With this corroboration, it rose from the level of hasan to the level of authentic.
