A question about the words of some authors in their books, "The Iranian Revolution is an Islamic Revolution . . ."?

The questioner : There is a phrase here that we encountered in some books, and its author says, meaning he says, "The Khomeini revolution is an Islamic revolution, and those who established it are an Islamic group, so it is obligatory for all Muslims to support and back this revolution and cooperate with it in all fields"?

The Shaykh : My brother, this is
The Shaykh (may Allah have mercy on him) laughedضحك الشيخ رحمه الله
speech "that time has consumed and drunk", as they say—may Allah forgive you—the one who said this speech quickly retracted it. The one who said this speech does not know the Shi'ah, nor does he know the Rafidah, and he did not study their beliefs and their falsehoods. Therefore, he repented to Allah and turned back to Him. So why are you digging up these sins on this day?

The questioner : Because it is written down, O Shaykh?

The Shaykh : It is written down, my brother, but no one remains who bears this speech or believes in it, because they say in our region in al-Sham, "the smell has come out". Do you understand this speech?

The questioner : Yes, yes.

The Shaykh : Well, so why do you hold on to this speech, whose falsehood has become apparent to everyone, even to those who said it and got involved? We had here people from a known party who went to pledge allegiance to Khomeini, but did they remain on that? They retracted. Therefore, leave these things whose falsehood has become clear, and occupy yourselves with addressing the errors they persist in to this day, where they consider calling to the Book and the Sunnah as division, and they say that it is not befitting to stir up disagreements, neither doctrinal disagreements nor jurisprudential disagreements. This is the deadly disease.
