The Shaykh’s explanation of his statement: (…and his wealth…)

The Shaykh : The word "wealth" may be difficult for some to understand: how does it follow him? His family, of course, comes out to accompany him, so how does his wealth follow him? It was explained in the past based on what was actually happening, and we can explain it today based on a new reality, whether that reality conforms to the Shari'ah or contradicts it, because it is a reality in any case. The wealth mentioned here that follows the deceased is slaves, servants, and slaves, and this is still observed regarding some kings who still enslave some people. So, based on the reality of that time, he (peace and blessings be upon him) said that his family and his wealth follow him.
