The questioner : And we seek refuge in Allah from the evils of our own selves and from the badness of our deeds. Whoever Allah guides is the one who is rightly guided, and whoever He causes to go astray, you will not find for him a guide. And I bear witness that there is no deity but Allah alone, with no partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and His Messenger, His chosen one from among His creation and His intimate friend. O Allah, send blessings and peace upon him, upon his family and his Companions, and upon those who follow his path until the Day of Judgment. Brothers in Islam, we have gathered in one of the houses of Allah (Blessed and Exalted is He), not for any kinship between us, but for Islam which has gathered us. So we ask Allah (Blessed and Exalted is He) that our hearts may be united upon Islam, that we may live upon Islam, and that we may die in the cause of Islam. Our guest tonight is the hadith scholar and jurist, the honorable Shaykh Muhammad Nasir al-Din al-Albani. We consider him to be among the scholars who act upon their knowledge, and Allah is his accountant. We believe that to be the case, and we do not declare anyone pure before Allah. So please, let him lecture to us on ... tonight, and ... from the questions of some people. I ask Allah (Blessed and Exalted is He) to help him in answering and to grant him health and well-being ... Islam and benefit for the Muslims. So please, let him proceed, may Allah reward him.
