The Shaykh : As for the hadith that follows, which is in the same sense as the previous one, it is the statement regarding Abdullah ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
He Is successful who has accepted Islam, who has been provided with sufficient for his want and been made contented by Allah with what He has given him. قد أفلح من أسلم ورزق كفافا وقنّعه الله بما آتاه
Sahih Muslim 1054
It was narrated by Muslim, al-Tirmidhi, and Ibn Majah. He said in explaining *kaffaf* (sufficient livelihood): *Kaffaf* is that which has no excess beyond sufficiency. The *kaffaf* provision is what suffices its owner, neither falling short of it nor exceeding it. This is the *kaffaf* provision which the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) attributed to its owner, stating that he was guided to Islam and that he had truly succeeded in the second hadith. This is *kaffaf*.
