I ask the Shaykh to teach me the appropriate method of supplication, and is it only on Friday, and is there an accepted hour on Friday?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : The questioner says: I ask the honorable Shaykh to teach me the appropriate method of supplication, and is it only on Friday? And is there an accepted hour on Friday? I ask you for guidance in this question of mine?

The Shaykh : Supplication is a form of worship, as Allah Blessed and Exalted is He said:
And your Lord says, "Call upon Me; I will respond to you." Indeed, those who disdain My worship will enter Hell [rendered] contemptible.
[Ghafir 40:60]
So the one who supplicates, meaning the one who supplicates to Allah the Mighty and Majestic, is a gainer in every case, because the mere act of supplication is worship. Then, there is no specific hour required for the acceptance of supplication, rather Allah the Exalted stated generally, saying:
And your Lord says, "Call upon Me; I will respond to you."
[Ghafir 40:60]
And He the Exalted said:
And when My servants ask you, [O Muhammad], concerning Me - indeed I am near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon Me
[Al-Baqarah 2:186]
But there are conditions that are closer to acceptance, and times that are closer to acceptance, and perhaps places that are closer to acceptance.
As for the conditions that are closer to acceptance, they are the state of the distressed person, for Allah the Exalted answers the supplication of the distressed person even if he is a disbeliever, as Allah the Exalted said:
And when they board a ship, they supplicate Allah, sincere to Him in religion. But when He delivers them to the land, at once they associate others with Him
[Al-'Ankabut 29:65]
And His saying the Exalted:
Is He [not best] who responds to the desperate one when he calls upon Him and removes evil and makes you inheritors of the earth? Is there a deity with Allah
[An-Naml 27:62]
And among them is the state of the oppressed, for the supplication of the oppressed is answered, as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to Mu'adh ibn Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) when he sent him to Yemen with what he instructed him regarding the laws of the religion, saying to him:
Beware of the supplication of the oppressed for there is no barrier between him and Allah.
Sahih Muslim 19a
And among them is a person being in prostration in his prayer, for the closest a servant is to his Lord is when he is in prostration. And there are times in which acceptance is hoped for, such as the last part of the night, for Allah the Exalted descends to the lowest heaven when the last third of the night remains, and He says:
Is there anyone to invoke Me, so that I may respond to invocation? Is there anyone to ask Me, so that I may grant him his request? Is there anyone seeking My forgiveness, so that I may forgive him?
Sahih al-Bukhari 1145
And also on Friday, there is an hour in which no Muslim servant who is standing in prayer asks Allah for anything but that He gives it to him. The closest this hour is likely to be is between the imam going out and the completion of the prayer, and then after the 'Asr prayer. And among the times in which acceptance is hoped for is between the adhan and the iqamah, for supplication between the adhan and the iqamah is not rejected. As for places, it appears that supplication in mosques is closer to acceptance than supplication in other than mosques, especially in the three mosques: al-Masjid al-Haram, al-Masjid al-Nabawi, and al-Masjid al-Aqsa. But supplication has etiquettes, among which is eating what is lawful, for eating what is forbidden is a cause for the rejection of supplication, as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
He then made a mention of a person who travels widely, his hair disheveled and covered with dust. He lifts his hand towards the sky (and thus makes the supplication): "O Lord, O Lord," whereas his diet is unlawful, his drink is unlawful, and his clothes are unlawful and his nourishment is unlawful. How can then his supplication be accepted?
Sahih Muslim 1015
So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) considered it unlikely that this man's supplication would be answered because he was eating and drinking what is forbidden and nourishing himself with it. And among the etiquettes is that one should be sincere in supplication, calling upon Allah the Mighty and Majestic with determination, steadfastness, and certainty of acceptance, except for a reason. As for supplicating like one who is self-sufficient, who does not care whether he is answered or not, then his acceptance is distant. And among the etiquettes of supplication is that one raises his hands, except in places where raising the hands is not mentioned, either explicitly or implicitly, in which case it is better not to raise the hands. For example, in the supplication during the tashahhud, the hands are not raised. In the supplication during the Friday sermon, the hands are not raised except in the prayer for rain or in the prayer for relief from a calamity. In the opening supplication
O Allah, purify me from sins
Sunan Abi Dawud 781Sahih (Al-Albani)
the hands are not raised. In seeking forgiveness after the prayer, the hands are not raised. The important thing is that among the etiquettes of supplication is that a person raises his hands, unless the Sunnah explicitly or implicitly indicates not to raise them, in which case the hands are not raised. And among the etiquettes of supplication is that one begins it with praise of Allah and sending blessings upon the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and ends it with sending blessings upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family). And let him know that Allah does not accept supplication involving sin, or severing of family ties, or oppression. So if a person supplicates with a supplication that involves sin, Allah the Mighty and Majestic will not answer it. And if he supplicates to Allah the Exalted with severing of family ties, Allah the Mighty and Majestic will not answer it. And if he supplicates to Allah with oppression, by cursing a person without a reason that permits him to curse him, then Allah will not answer him, because the supplication in that case is oppression. And Allah the Exalted said:
Indeed, the wrongdoers will not succeed.
[Al-An'am 6:21]
.

The questioner : May Allah reward you with good.
