The questioner : The questioner says: In Mina, after the stoning, a family dispute arose between me and my daughter's mother-in-law, and we remained in that state of anger for several months. Please inform us, may Allah reward you with good. Does that anger and conflict invalidate the Hajj?

The Shaykh : It does not invalidate the Hajj, but it is recommended that a person in the state of ihram for Hajj or 'Umrah should not argue, due to the saying of Allah the Exalted:
so whoever has made Hajj obligatory upon himself therein [by entering the state of ihram], there is [to be for him] no sexual relations and no disobedience and no disputing during Hajj فَمَنْ فَرَضَ فِيهِنَّ الْحَجَّ فَلا رَفَثَ وَلا فُسُوقَ وَلا جِدَالَ فِي الْحَجِّ
[Al-Baqarah 2:197]
And there is a note regarding her first question, where she says: In Muzdalifah, we stayed there to collect the pebbles for the stoning of the pillars. Some people think that the pebbles for the stoning of the pillars must be taken from Muzdalifah, and this is not correct. The pebbles for the stoning of the pillars are taken from any place. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) took them when he was standing to stone the Pillar of 'Aqabah, as mentioned in the ritual of Ibn Hazm (may Allah have mercy on him).

The questioner : May Allah reward you with good.
