The man's position regarding the conflict between his sister and his wife

Question:
I have been married for five years, and my wife was of good character and religion, praise be to Allah. However, I was surprised to find that a hostility arose between her and my sister. My sister often incites my family against her. Therefore, I ask your Eminence for your guidance on what I should do in this situation. May Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
We advise you not to be hasty. As long as the wife is good, we advise you to remain with her and hold onto her. Advise your sister and warn her against interfering in matters that do not concern her. Do not be hasty; hold onto the wife, praise be to Allah. Advise everyone and be gentle. Seek help from Allah in all of this. If you see that you should instruct some of your relatives to advise your sister so that they counsel her to cease her harm, that is good.
The point is: do not yield to your sister or anyone else regarding a good wife. But advise your sister, saying: "Leave the evil, leave the troublemaking." Instruct your mother to advise her, or your father, or your brothers, so that you may be safe from her harm. Yes.
