What are the conditions of righteous deeds?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : ... This is with regard to beneficial knowledge, and it remains for us, and it remains for me, to speak, and perhaps it will be a brief word, about righteous deeds. What are they? Two conditions are required in righteous deeds. The first condition is that it be in accordance with the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and we have mentioned earlier what is sufficient regarding it. Our Lord (Mighty and Majestic) has pointed to this condition. The other condition is that the righteous deed be pure for the Face of Allah, in His saying (Blessed and Exalted is He):
So whoever would hope for the meeting with his Lord - let him do righteous work and not associate in the worship of his Lord anyone." فمن كان يرجوا لقاء ربه فليعمل عملا صالحا ولا يشرك بعبادة ربه أحدا
[Al-Kahf 18:110]
. The exegetes said regarding His saying (Mighty and Majestic):
So whoever would hope for the meeting with his Lord - let him do righteous work فمن كان يرجوا لقاء ربه فليعمل عملا صالحا
[Al-Kahf 18:110]
, that the righteous deed is what conforms to the Sunnah, and
and not associate in the worship of his Lord anyone." ولا يشرك بعبادة ربه أحدا
[Al-Kahf 18:110]
means that it be pure for Allah (Mighty and Majestic) alone. In this phrase that conforms to the Sunnah, if one of these two conditions is lacking, the deed is not righteous. The first condition is that the deed be in accordance with the Sunnah; if it is not, it is rejected from its doer, even if he was sincere to his Lord in it, as he (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
'A'isha reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: He who innovates things in our affairs for which there is no valid (reason) (commits sin) and these are to be rejected. من أحدث في أمرنا هذا ما ليس منه فهو رد
