What is the ruling on one who did not enter the state of ihram for Hajj from the miqat?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : When she entered the state of ihram ten days ago, of course, her husband came to her during that period?

The Shaykh : The important thing is to ensure that she did not enter the state of ihram for Hajj. If so, there is nothing wrong with that. But the important thing is that her husband takes her back to her miqat, and there she enters the state of ihram for 'Umrah. She comes to Makkah, performs tawaf and sa'y, then exits the state of ihram. Then, according to her circumstances, if she is able to remain in Makkah for this period, and then when the eighth day, the Day of Tarwiyah, arrives, she enters the state of ihram for Hajj and does so. Otherwise, she returns to her husband's residence in Jeddah. Then from there, she enters the state of ihram for Hajj as a new entry, because her first entry was for 'Umrah, and this other entry is for Hajj.

The questioner : So the question is, I ask her: Did she enter the state of ihram? And if she did not wear the ihram garments, and if she did not intend? For example, if she entered the state of ihram for Hajj, then if she entered from the miqat with those who entered in the plane, of course, she would have entered the state of ihram for Hajj here.

The Shaykh : She entered the state of ihram for Hajj.

The questioner : And by her husband coming to her.

The Shaykh : It would be ifrad.

The questioner : It would be ifrad, and upon him is the Hajj, and upon him is a camel, and she must perform Hajj next year.

The Shaykh : Yes, that is right. This is if she did not make a condition with her Lord and say:
O Allah, I will finish my Ihram at any place where You stop me (i.e. I am unable to go further). اللهم محلي حيث حبستني
Sahih al-Bukhari 5089
If she had said this, she would not have to repeat it, and she would not have to offer a sacrificial animal.
