The questioner :
Whoever sleeps through a prayer or forgets it, let him pray it when he remembers it. من نام عن صلاة أو نسيها فليصلها حين يذكرها
A person was sleeping, then he woke up after the dawn had appeared, looked at the clock, and found that the Fajr prayer had passed. He said, "Since the prayer has passed"

The Shaykh : "Passed" means it passed in the mosque

The questioner : No, it means its time ended with the rising of the sun

The Shaykh : That is what he said

The questioner : Yes, so he said, "Since the time for the prayer has passed, there is no harm if I sleep for an hour, for example, and then wake up and pray the prayer." So, if he wakes up after the hour, does he pray, or has the prayer passed for him from the legal perspective and he does not pray?

The Shaykh : What did you understand from the hadith? Give me your understanding of the hadith

The questioner : My understanding of the hadith is that when he wakes up, it is obligatory for him to pray it

The Shaykh : That is it. You have understood, so adhere to it

The questioner : This is Ramadan, O our Shaykh

The Shaykh : Yes

The questioner : This is Ramadan

The Shaykh : This is Ramadan, the time of Ramadan, heh heh
