Q4: A man slept through the witr prayer and did not wake up until the time of the
Fajr adhan Should he pray it, or is it dropped from him? And how and when should he pray it?
A4: If a man sleeps through the witr prayer and does not wake up until the dawn breaks, he must make up the witr after the sun has risen to the height of a spear, and he should make it an even number, as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
