So, does it apply to us, and do we fall under the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) to the Companion:
Do you hear the call? هل تسمع النداء؟
He said, “Yes.” He said:
Then respond. فأجب
And what is the ruling if the mosque is in a rough, mountainous area, and climbing in this area is very difficult, and if we try to climb, we do not arrive until the prayer has been established and we have missed some of the units? Is it sufficient for us to pray at home?

The Shaykh : A woman is not originally required to attend the congregation, but a man is required to attend the congregation if he hears the call, but the call that is not through a loudspeaker, because if we took the loudspeaker into account, it would be heard from far away, as she said. The intended meaning is that if the adhan were not through a loudspeaker and these people could hear it, they would be obligated to attend.
Likewise, if the path to the mosque is rough, and they cannot reach the mosque except with great difficulty, or they cannot reach the mosque except after the congregation has finished the prayer, then they are not required to do so in this case, and they pray in congregation in their place, by the saying of Allah (Blessed and Exalted is He):
So fear Allah as much as you are able فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ مَا استَطَعتُم
