The Ruling on Congregational Prayer for One Who Hears the Call to Prayer

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
The listener, Hasan Muhammad Ali al-Barqi, sent a message saying: We are a group in a farm, and the mosque is a short distance from us. We gather on mats and pray. Is our prayer permissible while we hear the call to prayer from the mosque? May Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
It is obligatory for you to pray with the congregation if you hear the regular call to prayer without amplifiers, meaning you hear the call with the usual voice during times of quiet. In that case, you must pray with the people. However, if it is far away and you do not hear it except through amplifiers because of the distance, it is not obligatory for you unless it is easy for you to go. It is better for you to perform it with the congregation, but it is not obligatory for you unless it is near you and you hear the voice of the call to prayer without an amplifier, at times free from things that obstruct the sound. Yes.

The presenter : May Allah reward you with good.
