How did the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) see the people of Paradise and the people of the Fire before the Hour occurs?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : How did the Prophet see the people of Paradise and the people of the Fire before the Hour occurs, given that no one has entered Paradise or the Fire yet?
Answer: This is exactly what the Sufi claims to be a complete unveiling, but this is a valid unveiling specific to the prophets and messengers. As for this kind of unveiling, no one other than the Messenger (peace be upon him) will attain it after him. This was a representation shown to the Messenger (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) of what the people of Paradise and the people of the Fire will be like. He saw this on various occasions, including in the story of the solar eclipse; when the Messenger prayed the eclipse prayer, they saw him moving forward as if he wanted to grasp something, then he was seen retreating until the rows behind him retreated, and some of them overlapped with others. After the prayer, they asked him, and he said (peace and blessings be upon him):
Paradise was shown to me in this wall of yours, or in this wall of your mosque, and I saw its bliss and I saw its grapes, and I was about to pick some from it عُرِضت عليَّ الجنة في جداركم هذا أو جدار مسجدكم هذا ، فرأيت نعيمَها ورأيت عنبَها ، فهمَمْت أن ألتقط منها
. Then, it seems to me, this is not in the hadith that it is forbidden except for those who enter it. Then the Fire was shown to him, and he saw its blaze and felt its heat, so he retreated (peace and blessings be upon him). This was a representation by the Lord of the Worlds, the All-Powerful, who is capable of everything, showing the Messenger (peace be upon him) what the people of Paradise will be like in their bliss and what the people of the Fire will be like in their torment.
