The questioner : Some people say: Do not say: "Our Lord, to You belongs all praise and to You belongs all thanks" when rising from bowing. Is this transmitted or not?

The Shaykh : As for the saying:
Our Lord, to You belongs all praise ربنا ولك الحمد
, it is transmitted and well known. As for adding "thanks," it is better not to add it, because supplications and remembrances that are transmitted in a specific form should not be increased by a person beyond what came in the Sunnah. However, we do not say that a person has done something wrong; rather, we say that it is better to restrict oneself to "Our Lord, to You belongs all praise" as it came in the Sunnah, and not to add to it. Yes.

The questioner : The questioner says that.
