Discussion of some of the rulings concerning the full ritual bath.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : ... from among the Companions who had reached puberty, so he asked those around him: Do you find for him any dispensation to perform dry ablution with clean earth and not take a full ritual bath because of his wound? They told him: No, he must take a full ritual bath. So he took a full ritual bath and died, and this is, of course, a natural result. The news of his death reached the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and he became very angry and cursed those who had issued a ruling that he must take a full ritual bath, saying:
They killed him, may Allah kill them! Did they not ask when they were ignorant? Indeed, the cure for ignorance is asking. It would have been sufficient for him to strike a blow with his palms and wipe his face and hands with them.
. So this hadith ... is about binding the wound, the splint, and wiping over it.
