Is it permissible for me to work with people who do not pray, or who pray sometimes and leave off prayer at other times, and what is the ruling on eating with them?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : And this is a questioner for the program who says in his question: Is it permissible for me to work with people who do not pray, or who pray sometimes and leave off prayer at other times, or is it not permissible to work with these people? And what is the ruling on our eating with them? May Allah reward you with good.

The Shaykh : Working with these people is not a problem, but a person should advise them, warn them of Allah, and give them tapes containing admonitions and booklets containing admonitions. Perhaps Allah will guide them, or guide some of them, for all of that is good. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to 'Ali ibn Abi Talib when he sent him to Khaybar, saying when he sent him to Khaybar:
Proceed to them steadily till you approach near to them and then invite them to Islam and inform them of their duties towards Allah which Islam prescribes for them, for by Allah, if one man is guided on the right path (i.e. converted to Islam) through you, it would be better for you than (a great number of) red camels. انفِذ على رسلك فوالله لأن يهدي الله بك رجلا واحدا خير لك من حمْر النعم
Sahih al-Bukhari 3701
This is cited as an example of abundance and great spoils, because the best camels among the Arabs are the red ones. If it becomes easy for these people to be guided, that is what is desired. If it does not become easy, let him seek another job that distances him from these people, either within the same company or in another company. Yes.

The questioner : May Allah reward you with the best reward for us and for the Muslims.
