Questions about some bank transactions?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Allow me a moment. I went to a merchant, or perhaps not a merchant, who is aware of accounts in Saudi Arabia. He said there are billions there. He brought one... he said, take it...

The Shaykh : Riba

The questioner : The riba that comes out to you, they all put it in the banks. They put it... he holds it... in his house. I told him, by Allah, on his honor, I do not know... he has no

The Shaykh : No, he did not clear his honor
Another questioner: The state did not...

The Shaykh : He did not clear his honor, this is necessary

The questioner : ... paid them to the gamblers

The Shaykh : He must not leave his money in the bank. Many people think like this, meaning they think these are wealthy people, meaning they put the money in the bank and do not take it out

The questioner : Yes

The Shaykh : But they did not know that he assisted the bank in disobeying Allah (Mighty and Majestic)

The questioner : ... is it permissible for those who have money, meaning

The Shaykh : My dear, before we say it is not permissible, we say it is not permissible first -the Shaykh (may Allah have mercy on him) laughed-

The questioner : Meaning there is a lot of money
Another questioner: Meaning, other than banks, for example, is it possible
Another questioner: What is the ruling on Islamic banks

The questioner : There is no way to trade... or to request goods
Another questioner: ... always that you have money in a bank...

The Shaykh : There is a way

The questioner : Okay... okay, my dear, regarding... let...
Another questioner: This is trade, this

The Shaykh : There is a way
And whoever fears Allah - He will make for him a way out (3) And will provide for him from where he does not expect. ومن يتق الله يجعل له مخرجا ويرزقه من حيث لا يحتسب
[At-Talaq 65:2-3]
but the important thing is greed and avarice and the love of money, as it was said "Your love of a thing blinds and deafens" Now, the love of money is controlling people, and therefore they turn a blind eye to this and that, and they say "Let the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) take it" as they say in our region of Sham, this is a word of disbelief.
Islam is all ease, but its ease is in applying its system, not in violating it.
And whoever fears Allah - He will make for him a way out (3) And will provide for him from where he does not expect. ومن يتق الله يجعل له مخرجا ويرزقه من حيث لا يحتسب
[At-Talaq 65:2-3]
Allah has spoken the truth. I mention on this occasion two noble hadiths that serve as an explanation for this noble verse. How much we need to embody these two hadiths in our commercial lives. Let us say the first hadith. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
A wealthy man from among those before you was approached by a man who said, "Lend me a thousand dinars." He said, "Bring a guarantor." He said, "Allah is the guarantor." He said, "Bring a witness." He said, "Allah is the witness." So he lent him a thousand dinars. كان رجل غني فيمن قبلكم أتاه رجل فقال أقرضني ألف دينار قال هات الكفيل قال الله الكفيل قال هات الشهيد قال الله الشهيد فنقده ألف دينار
Of course, I am saying this in a non-formal setting. The attendees will say, this is a Dervish, how can he cash a thousand dinars with no document, no witness, and nothing but Allah? Well, Allah will come down to judge between His servants on earth, what is this Dervish nonsense? But look at the result. He cashed a thousand dinars, and they agreed on a set day for repayment. The man traveled by sea to make a profit with the thousand dinars, wanting to earn a living.

The questioner : Yes

The Shaykh : The appointed day arrived, and he was far from the town, the creditor's town. What did he do? Extreme foolishness, certainly according to the material system. He came to a plank, tapped it, and carved it precisely, and stuffed it, just as we stuff a rifle with powder, and sealed it tightly. A thousand dinars of gold, he sealed it tightly. He came to the seashore and said, O Lord, You were the guarantor and You were the witness... he threw the plank into the sea. You can call this Dervish nonsense.

The questioner : ... .
Another questioner: Allahu Akbar

The Shaykh : Our Lord (Mighty and Majestic), by His unlimited power and His all-encompassing knowledge, commanded these waves to take the plank to the creditor's town. The creditor went out on the appointed day, waiting for the debtor, waiting, waiting, the man did not come... then the plank was playing between the hands of the waves... because he did not... he was not walking, there was no oil, no gasoline, or anything, this is their fuel. He would find it as a gain, meaning... the gain that was not on his mind. So, either the best of it, or the valley took it to his house, he broke it, and the thousand dinars of gold came out, a few days, one or two days, it is not mentioned in the hadith. The important thing is the debtor came. Look, the Dervish completely ignored everything that was done and cashed a thousand dinars.

The questioner : Another?

The Shaykh : Yes, another. The creditor reminds me of the old Arabic proverb: "Birds fall according to their kind" A man of good character told him the story of the plank, that I, for example, two days ago, went out to meet you, and if the plank was in front of me, I took it and broke it, and a thousand dinars came out. He said to him, by Allah, I did it when I despaired of fulfilling the promise with you, I turned to Allah (Mighty and Majestic), and I took the plank and crushed it, and the thousand dinars came out, and I did such and such. He said to him, may Allah bless you in your wealth. He returned to him, what? The thousand dinars. Is there anyone who does this today? -the Shaykh laughed- No one has news of a plank with a thousand dinars in it. If you press it, people say, who wants to tell him? But he watched his Lord (Mighty and Majestic), and therefore the thousand dinars returned to him, and he was content with what he took by sea. This is a divine message, who is worthy of it?
whoever fears Allah - He will make for him a way out (3) And will provide for him ومن يتق الله يجعل له مخرجا ويرزقه
[At-Talaq 65:2-3]
... Allahu Akbar, like the steadfast mountains. The second story and the second hadith, he (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
And behold, he heard a voice from the cloud saying, "O cloud, rain on the land of so-and-so" بينما رجل ممن قبلكم يمشي في فلاة من الأرض
A desert plain.
And behold, he heard a voice from the cloud saying, "O cloud, rain on the land of so-and-so" وإذا به يسمع صوتا من السحاب يقول السحاب اسق أرض فلان
This is also from the extraordinary. He hears words spoken by the people of the earth from the sky. Go, O cloud, rain on the land of so-and-so, son of so-and-so. The cloud was moving like this, it turned like this. The man walked with the cloud to see this miracle. And when the cloud reached a garden, it rained on this garden and its surroundings. There was not a single drop of rain on the rest. He looked at the garden and found the worker in it, the owner of the garden, working in it, directing the water from here to there, etc. He greeted him by the name he heard in the cloud. The man returned the greeting. He was surprised that he was not from that village. He asked him, what is your story? He said to him, my story is that I was walking...
