If one wears leather socks, then removes them at night and at dawn, then puts them back on and wipes over them, and the period for wiping over them has not ended, is this permissible?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Abu Awda from Asir says: If I wear leather socks, then remove them at night and at dawn, then put them back on and wipe over them, and the period for wiping over them has not ended, is this permissible?

The Shaykh : This is not permissible, because if a person wipes over a leather sock and then removes it after wiping, he does not wipe over it again until he performs a complete ablution in which he washes his feet, and then he puts on the leather sock anew.
Accordingly, whoever is accustomed to removing his leather socks at night, or when entering the mosque, or when entering gatherings, he should wipe over the sock underneath them so that he is in a state of ease. Yes.
