What is the alternative to the bank for one whose wealth has increased?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : In light of the current circumstances of dealing with riba in banks in these matters, and the inability to place one's money in banks, I mean, very simply, what do you think is the most appropriate method if a person’s money overflows? For example, what is the best way to place these funds?

The Shaykh : Huh, today you know that safes and vaults for the preservation of money are more necessary than ever before, even from fires, and you know that better than I do. So, it is not permissible for a Muslim to adopt means that help him to expand his wealth or preserve his money other than the lawful, permissible means.
So, in that case, in my opinion, if the Muslim adopts these permissible means, and adds to that a positive matter and a negative matter, if I may express it that way. The positive matter is to fear Allah the Exalted and Majestic, because the verse is explicit on this subject:
And whoever fears Allah - He will make for him a way out (3) And will provide for him from where he does not expect.وَمَنْ يَتَّقِ اللَّهَ يَجْعَلْ لَهُ مَخْرَجًا و يرزقه من حيث لا يحتسب
[At-Talaq 65:2-3]
.
As for the negative matter, and I say this regarding those who bring me such a question from among those afflicted with depositing their money in riba banks, I say: It is not necessary that he places ... on his house, especially in the corner or in the place where the safe is here as a treasure. Do you understand this?
So, if he adopts the two lawful means:
The first means: The material means, such as a safe, and safes in this field are varied, and he relies upon Allah (Mighty and Majestic), for Allah is the best of guardians and He is the Most Merciful of the merciful. And then he does not say in any way, "I am afraid for my money, I am afraid for myself." A Muslim never says this. A Muslim does not say this, otherwise the Muslim would not live on the face of the earth except trembling like a feather in a stormy wind, Glory be to Allah.

The questioner : It seems I understood at the beginning of your speech, I understood wrong, and I imagined, and at the end you explained. I thought that if he had an excess amount, he would freeze it in the form of cash.

The Shaykh : In?

The questioner : In cash, if he tries to put it, for example, he buys land, this.

The Shaykh : No, it is not a condition. This is permissible and this is permissible.

The questioner : I mean, there is no problem.

The Shaykh : Because the forbidden hoarding of wealth is that which does not have its zakah paid, and every wealth from which its zakah is paid is not hoarded. So, the warning mentioned in the Qur'an
And those who hoard gold and silver وَالَّذِينَ يَكْنِزُونَ الذَّهَبَ وَالْفِضَّةَ
[At-Tawbah 9:34]
, and so on, is only for the hoard or the wealth from which its owner does not pay its zakah.

The questioner : I read the statement of al-Zuhri, my Shaykh, he says: "It is better for me to die with ten thousand dinars and be held accountable by Allah for them, than to ask people."

The Shaykh : Yes, by Allah, asking people is humiliation, wherever the path may be.

The questioner : Is there a difference between having an excess of people with paper currency and the one who prefers to keep it in the form of gold, for example?

The Shaykh : Yes, in the form of gold, in the form of gold, because paper currency, unfortunately, today is gambled with.
