Is there any harm in teachers breaking their fast together during the first break at school, given that a number of teachers are supervising the students during that time?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Is there any harm in teachers breaking their fast together during the first break at school, given that a number of teachers are supervising the students during that time?

The Shaykh : If they are neglecting the obligation required by the contract between them and the state, then it is forbidden for them, based on the saying of Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He:
O you who have believed, fulfill [all] contracts. يا أَيُّهَا الَّذينَ ءامَنوا أَوفوا بِالعُقودِ
[Al-Ma'idah 5:1]
This includes fulfilling the contract in both its essence and its details.
As for if this does not have an impact, then there is no harm. These matters are up to the school administration. It is obligatory for the principal, if one of those under his authority neglects what is required of him, to remind him of Allah, to compel him to fulfill it, and not to favor anyone in this regard. People are equal in judgment among them: whoever deserves something has it, and whoever neglects an obligation bears the consequence. There is no difference between the noble and the lowly, or the friend and the non-friend. Yes.
