The questioner : This questioner says in her question: What is the ruling on reciting verses from the Noble Qur'an orally when sleeping or otherwise, while she is in a state of major ritual impurity or menstruation, O Shaykh?

The Shaykh : If a person is in a state of major ritual impurity, he does not recite the Qur'an unless he performs the full ritual bath. However, if he makes supplication with supplications from the Qur'an, intending supplication rather than recitation, there is nothing wrong with it. For example, if he says
[Who say], "Our Lord, let not our hearts deviate after You have guided us and grant us from Yourself mercy. Indeed, You are the Bestower.
[Ali 'Imran 3:8]
Our Lord, give us in this world [that which is] good and in the Hereafter [that which is] good and protect us from the punishment of the Fire."
[Al-Baqarah 2:201]
"Our Lord, forgive us and our brothers who preceded us in faith and put not in our hearts [any] resentment toward those who have believed. Our Lord, indeed You are Kind and Merciful."
[Al-Hashr 59:10]
and intends thereby supplication rather than recitation, there is no blame on him.

The questioner : May Allah reward you.
