Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh: All praise is due to Allah; we praise Him, seek His help, and seek His forgiveness. We seek refuge in Allah from the evil of our own souls and from the evil of our deeds. Whoever Allah guides, no one can mislead, and whoever He misleads, no one can guide. And I bear witness that there is no god but Allah alone, with no partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and His Messenger.
O you who have believed, fear Allah as He should be feared and do not die except as Muslims [in submission to Him].
[Ali 'Imran 3:102]
,
O mankind, fear your Lord, who created you from one soul and created from it its mate and dispersed from both of them many men and women. And fear Allah, through whom you ask one another, and the wombs. Indeed Allah is ever, over you, an Observer.
[An-Nisa 4:1]
,
(70) O you who have believed, fear Allah and speak words of appropriate justice. (71) He will [then] amend for you your deeds and forgive you your sins. And whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger has certainly attained a great attainment.
[Al-Ahzab 33:70-71]
, As for what follows:
So ask whatever you wish, organize your questions, and avoid chaos as much as you can; for it destroys the benefit.

The questioner: There is a hadith narrated by Imam Ahmad from Abu Umamah, in which Abu Dharr said: "I said: O Messenger of Allah, how many are the prophets in total?" He said:
One hundred thousand and twenty-four thousand messengers, of whom three hundred and fifteen were eminent and numerous.
; Is this hadith authentic? And was a specific number given with the names of the messengers?

The Shaykh: This hadith is authentic. As for the second part of the question, which is whether a specific number of messengers was mentioned; that is something we do not have knowledge of.
Other than that?
Please proceed.
