Is it permissible to bury disbelievers in Muslim cemeteries?

The Shaykh : The disbelievers. Therefore, those who keep talking about combining the interests of Muslims and disbelievers, they look at the issue from a social perspective, a civil perspective, not at all from a religious perspective. From this standpoint, you find that today’s Muslim cemeteries, some rulers in some of the lands of Islam try to surround them with tall flowers and beautiful greenery, so that the eyes of passersby do not fall upon what would distress their lives if they looked at it. This, of course, completely contradicts the purpose for which the Messenger (peace be upon him) permitted Muslims to visit graves after he had forbidden them from doing so in his saying: Now, visiting graves has almost become a thing of the past, and that is due to the preservation of civilization they talk about in order to move the cemetery from the city to outside of it. The one who wants to visit the cemetery has to go, rent a private car, and go visit the dead, so he does not do it. Whereas when the cemetery is among the houses, they would pass by it, greet it, and send mercy upon those in it, and remember their conditions, how they were and how they became.
And these Islamic and educational meanings are not considered by these people, and therefore they want to erase its landmarks, and they do so as much as they are able. From this standpoint comes the issue of unifying the cemeteries of Muslims and non-Muslims by placing them in one place, to move the cemetery outside the city.

The Shaykh : There is no ruling in Islam, so whatever these people say... I seek refuge in Allah.

After five years, and you say the Mahdi... be patient, I said, O Abu Abdullah, this Mahdi is going to appear, and the fighting will be with the sword and it will happen with the spear. He said: Yes, yes, it is like that. I said to him: Okay, it is like that... a knife is present, man, put your mind in your head, and cannons and airplanes are present. These require times. He said: I am alive and you are alive, if it is not after five years, the Iraqi-Iranian war will end, and the Euphrates will recede from a mountain of gold, and the Mahdi will descend. The important thing is that they are confused behind one another.
Abu Abdullah: I... in a weak hadith, it will come a war on the water of the Euphrates for twelve years.

The Shaykh : In any case, in such places, it indicates the weakness of one of two things or both together, either weakness in knowledge or weakness in intellect, or both together. What does the Muslim need to look for in the first place in guessing about the unseen? After five years, the Mahdi will appear or someone else.

The questioner : I mean, as much as I was surprised at the issue, I said to him, it is possible that this body will go in the path of Allah. He said: Train yourself and prepare yourself.

The Shaykh : Okay, where did you get the superstition that weapons will be disabled and the spear and arrow will be used?

The questioner : Frankly, what superstition? It is in al-Bukhari and Muslim in the old way, in order to scare you a little.

The Shaykh : May Allah guide you, show me my error in what I said?

The questioner : The fighting will happen with swords, Professor.

The Shaykh : Where will it happen with swords?

The questioner : The Mahdi and our master Jesus.

The Shaykh : First, the research was not like this, therefore knowledge requires precision. Do you see I am asking you where all the machines will be disabled?

The Shaykh : You spoke of that hour, now it is possible that fighting happens, what do they call it today, with white weapons.

The questioner : It is not necessary that the weapons are disabled.

The Shaykh : Therefore, prepare yourself.

The questioner : I mean, this, by Allah, supports the school of Abu Abdullah really.

The Shaykh : What is your school?

The questioner : My school, I am on the school of my Shaykh, I am relying on Allah.

The Shaykh : Is your school the school of your Imam?

The questioner : What is it to me and my Imam, that one is not my Imam.
