Explanation of the hadith (Marry the loving and fertile women...) and the hadith (The nations were presented to me...)

The Shaykh : The other hadith in which the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) encouraged every individual of his Ummah to choose a righteous wife, one who is fertile and not barren. This is because one of the goals of marriage, which our Lord (Mighty and Majestic) commanded in the Qur'an and our Prophet (may Allah's prayers and peace be upon him) affirmed in the hadith and the authentic Sunnah, is to increase the offspring of the Muhammadan Ummah. Therefore, our Lord (Mighty and Majestic) said in the Noble Qur'an: [An-Nisa 4:3]. From a jurisprudential perspective, this command indicated obligation, were it not for the fact that the original ruling regarding sexual intercourse and private parts is prohibition. When the command came, meaning permission, and permission lifts prohibition, the verse from a jurisprudential perspective indicates encouragement to marry, not obligation, especially since the verse says: . However, what indicates the obligation of marriage for a man who is able to afford it is his saying (peace and blessings be upon him): . This marriage, which our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) commanded in this hadith, was commanded with a logical and rational reason, so he said: Sunan an-Nasa'i 2242Sahih (Darussalam). It also came in another hadith, which is his saying (peace be upon him): . Therefore, so that the Muslim protects himself from falling into any of the preliminaries of zina, let alone falling into zina itself, he said (peace and blessings be upon him) in the previous hadith: Mishkat al-Masabih 3080. I am left with the second hadith that I mentioned in connection with the first, which is his saying (peace be upon him): . As for the second hadith, it is his saying (peace and blessings be upon him): . In this hadith, there is the explicit command from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) that the suitor should choose a woman or girl whose fathers and mothers are known to have been fertile. So he (peace be upon him) commanded that the Muslim not choose a barren woman, and this is naturally within the limits of ability, for Allah does not burden a soul beyond its capacity. The point is his saying (peace be upon him): Sunan al-Bayhaqi 10:852. So the goal of the command to marry is to increase the offspring for the worship of Allah alone, who has no partner, and secondly, to fulfill a noble Prophetic desire, which is that he will boast of his Ummah to the nations on the Day of Resurrection due to their large numbers, as came in the authentic hadith. As they say, "a thing reminds one of another," he said (peace and blessings be upon him): . This is from what is called *kashf* (unveiling) among the Sufis, meaning that it was an unveiling of the insight of the Messenger (peace be upon him), and perhaps of his sight as well, of all the nations. He said: , meaning from among the people, , to the end of the hadith. So the point is that the one who marries achieves two things, or should achieve two things: the first is to worship Allah alone, and the second is to protect himself and protect others, namely his wife. And there is a wisdom, not a necessary command like marriage itself, which is what was mentioned in the hadith: . And it is perhaps appropriate to mention to our brothers present that his saying (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) in the previous hadith: Mishkat al-Masabih 3080.
then marry those that please you of [other] women, two or three or four
Two, three, and four
O young men, whoever among you is able to afford marriage, let him marry, for it is more effective in lowering the gaze and more protective of the private parts. And whoever is not able, let him fast, for it is a restraint for him.
يا معشر الشباب من استطاع منكم الباءة فليتزوج فإنه أغض للبصر، وأحصن للفرج، وإن لم يستطع فعليه الصوم، فإنه له وجاءfor it is more effective in lowering the gaze and guarding one's chastity
The share of every son of Adam in zina is written for him, and it will overtake him without fail. The eye commits zina, and its zina is looking. The ear commits zina, and its zina is listening. The hand commits zina, and its zina is touching. The foot commits zina, and its zina is walking. And the private part confirms all of this or denies it.
Young man, those of you who can support a wife should marry, for it keeps you from looking at strange women and preserves you from immorality; but those who cannot should devote themselves to fasting, for it is a means of suppressing sexual desire.

So I looked toward the horizon and saw a great mass.
So I said, "Who are these?" The answer came, "These are the people of Moses." Then I looked toward the other horizon and found a greater mass. I said, "Who are these?" It was said, "These are your Ummah, O Muhammad..."
أمتك يا محمد ...Marry those who are fertile and loving, for I will be shown your numbers to the nations on the Day of Resurrection.
