What is the authenticity of the hadith (Allah created Adam in the image of the Most Merciful)?

The Shaykh: This is a hadith that originated in your lands and spread to us; but it is a hadith that is not valid, no matter how much one triesThe Shaykh : to strengthen it, for strengthening a weak hadith is not within the scope of expertiseThe Shaykh : He transgressed the bounds of expertise when he authenticated this hadith, especially since it raises many problems and doubts among the general Muslim population; if we say that he left the hadith on the correct narration , rather than relying on the other narration that raises numerous and many problems, among which is likening the Most Merciful to a human, then he should not narrate this hadith or dwell upon it, but rather suffice with the authentic hadith , and then each interpreter interprets it according to what is more probable to him, even if his interpretation returns to that weak hadith; because there is a great difference between presenting to people an opinion of one's own in interpreting the authentic hadith, where the opinion is subject to error and correctness, and saying to them this is the saying of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) ; there is a vast difference between the two matters; and therefore, it is an error to narrate this hadith except on the correct narration.
