Continuation of the discussion on the alternative to dealing with interest-based banks.

The Shaykh : Look now at the sincerity in fulfilling the obligation from one side, and not relying on what he did. You hear that the Sufis say, "So-and-so was seized by a state (hal)." I deny this thing; you must know with me what this phrase means. The matter of a person sometimes being seized by a state is not at all blameworthy, because a person sometimes has to disconnect from the material existence by rising to the higher levels and connecting with the Highest Assembly. This man, when he threw down the plank with the hundred dinars on it, was undoubtedly seized by a state.
Al-Halabi : A state of faith?
The Shaykh : Allow me, allow me; we say that the Sufis mean by "seized by a state" that he is a madman remembering Allah and is seized by a state. No, this is being seized by a state. Here, he was seized by the feeling that he should, if he had wings, fly to that country for what? To redeem the money to fulfill the promise; but it did not come out in his hand. So what does he do? Here, there is no good except with what exists. This is what came out in his hand: he smashed the money on the plank and threw it away, and so on. But this state that seized him did not last with him, so he returned to the normal state. The normal state is expressed by when he came to his companion, he ignored everything he had done and took out from his pocket and paid him a hundred dinars. If he had intended to rely on that action, he would have said to him, "I sent you a hundred dinars by divine post, perhaps it reached you." What do I know? This is a matter beyond human control, I saw it. Therefore, he ignored the matter and paid him a hundred dinars. This is undoubtedly the ultimate in loyalty and sincerity, and acting through material means and, if the term is correct, spiritual or divine means, combining both and returning to the usual system, so he paid the hundred dinars. Look now at the position of the creditor to remind us of the common saying, "Birds fall according to their kind." If one of the rich people today came with this divine post, which has no parallel, a hundred dinars, he would put them in his pocket or his safe, and when the debtor comes and pays him, he would say to him, "May Allah reward you with good," because this debtor cannot establish the proof against him that he sent him a hundred dinars, as we do today with a chargeback card, saying, "I sent you, there is nothing of this." It is above the natural cosmic causes that occurred. But this rich man, like this debtor, both are equal in the fear of Allah and in the mindfulness of Allah. What did he do? ; this is an interpretation of His saying, the Exalted: [At-Talaq 65:2] meaning that Allah subjected for this person the sea, the waves, these crashing waves that destroy the firm mountains, the large ships that you have seen, like a country moving in the sea. Our Lord, Mighty and Majestic, subjected this wave for this pious person. The mindfulness of Allah, Mighty and Majestic, brings about wonders, but unfortunately, we no longer feel the effect of mindfulness except rarely and very rarely. The second hadith I mention on this occasion is also a miracle and a sign that confirms the effect of the Muslim's mindfulness of Allah, Mighty and Majestic, and how our Lord subjects the universe for him. He said, peace and blessings be upon him: , a voice from the clouds. Even in the age of the dominance of airplanes over the clouds, it is not possible to hear the voice of humans except the roar of airplanes. This person in that time heard a voice from the clouds, words he understood. Strange, it has never happened like this. meaning it was as if it explained to him that this is a miracle from Allah for you, and you must be among those close to Allah, so Allah subjected for you the clouds, the rain, and the rain falls in the garden and outside the garden there is nothing. It is the closest thing that reminds us of the hadith of Anas ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) in the two Sahihs, when the Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him, was delivering the Friday sermon, an Arab entered and said: "O Messenger of Allah, the wealth and families have perished from the scarcity of rain, so call upon Allah for us." He said, peace and blessings be upon him, and raised his hands until his armpits were visible. Sunan an-Nasa'i 1517Sahih (Darussalam) The sky swelled with rain like the mouths of water skins. Anas says, "So Madinah rained and around it there was no rain." This story reminds me of this incident in the time of the Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him, how Allah responded to the call of the Messenger; so Madinah was poured with rain, while outside Madinah there was nothing. And the opposite, Anas said: "It continued to rain for a Saturday, meaning a full week, until the second Friday came and the Messenger of Allah was delivering the sermon." Anas said: "The same man or another came and said: O Messenger of Allah, the wealth and families have perished from the abundance of rain," the opposite of the first, "so call upon Allah for us." He said, peace and blessings be upon him: Sahih al-Bukhari 1013 , he said: "So the sky cleared and it was like a shield," meaning the shield, as if in a large shield around Madinah, so Madinah had no rain and what was around it? Rain on the hills and mountains and the places where trees grow. This is all a disposition from Allah, Mighty and Majestic, in obedience, excuse me, in response to the call of His Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. There is , do not forget yourself, do not forget your land which is the cause of your provision, and do not forget your neighbors who are around you, the poor and the needy. So the solution to this problem and the alternative to these banks is that we change what is in ourselves so that Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He, changes what is in us. At that time, you will find the Muslims themselves treating the matter now, I say now, meaning after they prepare themselves and change, they treat these problems that obstruct their path and become independent of the interest-based banks established on the disobedience of Allah. And this is what I wanted to answer regarding the question of what is the alternative, so bring forth another if you have one.

He said to him, "My brother, on the day of the appointment, I went out to meet you and receive you, but you did not come. However, I found a plank, so I took it and broke it, and I found a hundred dinars on it. What is the story?" He said to him, "The story is such and such," and he told him the story, and he returned the hundred dinars to him and said to him, "May Allah bless you in your wealth."
And whoever fears Allah - He will make for him a way out
A man from before you went out walking and heard a voice from the clouds.
Go, O cloud, and water the land of so-and-so.
The cloud was moving this way, and then it moved in another direction; he was walking with the cloud until he found the cloud emptying its load of rainwater on a garden he had looked into. He found its owner working on opening the water path, and so on regarding the system of planting. He greeted the man by the name he had heard from above from the sky. He said to him, "What is your news? I see you as a stranger, I do not know you by my name?" He told him the story he had heard with his ear. He said to him, "So what is that?"
O Allah, send us rain; O Allah, send us rain.
O Allah! Round about us and not on us. O Allah! On the plateaus, on the mountains, on the hills, in the valleys and on the places where trees grow.
We find this man, the owner of the garden, saying to the one who heard the voice from the clouds: "By Allah, I do not know, but I have this land. And here is the point: I have this land and I plant it. When I do not harvest it, I divide it into three parts: one part I return to the land, one part I spend on myself, and one part I give in charity to my neighbors and those around me." He said to him, "That is it. By this, you have earned the right for Allah the Exalted to make the clouds serve you, because you fear Allah in your wealth."
