What is the ruling on one who leaves out a pillar of the prayer?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : And may Allah bless you.

The questioner : If one leaves out a pillar in the prayer, is that rak'ah invalidated and he repeats a rak'ah in its place, or does he repeat only that pillar?

The Shaykh : It depends on the pillar. If the pillar is in the first rak'ah, he should repeat all the rak'ahs. But if the missing pillar is in the last rak'ah, he performs the pillar without repeating the entire rak'ah. Did you hear me?

The questioner : Yes, if he leaves out only the first rak'ah, meaning if he leaves out a pillar in the first rak'ah.

The Shaykh : I have answered you.

The questioner : The answer is not clear, O Shaykh.

The Shaykh : If the missing pillar is in the first rak'ah, he invalidates all the rak'ahs. Did you hear me?

The questioner : Yes, meaning he does not build upon it.

The Shaykh : He does not build upon it.

The questioner: May Allah bless you.

The Shaykh : And may He reward you.
