A woman who has reached the age of menopause and has bleeding during Ramadan: does she break her fast or not?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : A woman has reached the age of menopause, and after her menstruation stopped for approximately eight months, a small amount of blood appeared for a short time during the day. Is this considered menstruation such that she breaks her fast because of it, or is the matter otherwise?

The Shaykh : If the report is correct that her menstruation has stopped, then this blood is incidental blood, meaning it is irregular non-menstrual bleeding. However, we fear that the menstrual blood may not have actually stopped from her. As the saying goes, "The people of Makkah know its valleys best," she knows her own condition better than anyone else. If she is certain that her menstruation has stopped, then this blood is irregular non-menstrual bleeding, so she fasts, prays, and does everything else. Yes.
