The ruling on a woman's bleeding after the age of menopause

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa number ( 18579 )
Q5: What is the ruling on a woman's bleeding after the age of menopause , meaning: after her bleeding has stopped for a year or more, and her age is 50 to 55, and the blood comes as a medical or psychological condition? Does she pray?
A : When a woman reaches the age of menopause, which is fifty years, any blood she sees after that is blood of corruption; she does not leave off fasting or prayer because of it, and it does not have the rulings of menstruation. This is based on the statement of A'ishah (may Allah be pleased with her): "When a woman reaches fifty years, she is exempt from menstruation," as reported by Ahmad .
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
