Is there any dislike or prohibition in naming a newborn (Islam)?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : I was blessed with a male child and I named him Islam. Does this name contain any dislike or prohibition from the perspective of the Shari'ah, in your opinion, O honorable Shaykh?

The Shaykh : Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and I send prayers and peace upon our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and his Companions, and those who follow them with excellence until the Day of Judgment. The answer to this question is that it is recommended that a person not name his son or daughter with a name that contains self-praise, because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) changed the name Bara to Zaynab due to the self-praise in the name Bara. Similarly, the name Abrar for a female is not recommended due to the self-praise in it, which is why the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) changed the name Bara. It appears that Islam is of this type, and that a person should not name his child with it. We have names that are better and more beautiful than that, namely those mentioned by the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in his saying:
The most loved names to Allah are 'Abdullah and 'Abdur-Rahman. أحب الأسماء إلى الله: عبد الله وعبد الرحمان
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2834Sahih (Darussalam)
If a person chooses a name for his children from these names, it is better and more appropriate due to the servitude to Allah (Mighty and Majestic) contained in them, especially the servitude to Allah or to al-Rahman. Similarly, 'Abd al-Rahim, 'Abd al-Wahhab, 'Abd al-Sami', 'Abd al-'Aziz, 'Abd al-Hakim, and the like. But the best of them is what the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) mentioned:
The most loved names to Allah are 'Abdullah and 'Abdur-Rahman. أحب الأسماء إلى الله عبد الله وعبد الرحمان
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2834Sahih (Darussalam)
. Yes.

The questioner : May Allah bless you. In his second question, he says.
