What is the meaning of the saying of Allah the Exalted: “Woe to those who pray, who are heedless of their prayer”?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : In his last question, he says: What is the meaning of the saying of Allah the Exalted: I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Shaytan
(4) So woe to those who pray (5) [But] who are heedless of their prayer - (6) Those who make show [of their deeds] (7) And withhold [simple] assistance.
[Al-Ma'un 107:4-7]
?

The Shaykh :“Wail” is a word of warning.

The questioner : Yes.

The Shaykh : And a threat. The praying ones who are heedless of their prayer are those who pray but do not care about their prayer; they are negligent of it, so they delay it from its time and do not fulfill its obligatory acts, pillars, and conditions. They pray, but they are heedless of their prayer; they do not establish it in the manner required of them.
As for those who show off, they are those who show off to people in the worship of Allah. They worship Allah in front of people so that people see them and praise them for their worship of Allah, Mighty and Majestic.
As for those who withhold the means of assistance, they are those who withhold vessels and the like of what people usually borrow, even though a person is in no need of it. You find that, out of stinginess, he withholds even the lending of the means of assistance. So Allah described these people as being heedless of their prayer, showing off in their worship, and stingy with their wealth. Yes.

The questioner : Thank you, O honorable Shaykh, and may Allah magnify your reward for what you have clarified for us and for the noble listening brothers.
