She says: I have become accustomed to reading the Noble Qur'an before sleep

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : I have become accustomed to reading the Noble Qur'an before sleep, and if I do not read, I feel anxiety and fear. What should I do on the days of menstruation? I ask for your guidance. May Allah reward you with good.

The Shaykh : The correct opinion regarding a menstruating woman reading the Qur'an is that if she needs to read, there is no blame on her for reading what she needs. The Qur'anic recitations are permissible for a menstruating woman to read, such as the Verse of the Throne, the chapters of seeking refuge, and other things that serve as protection from Satan.
Likewise, if a menstruating woman needs to read the Qur'an to confirm what she has memorized and consolidate it, or if she needs the Qur'an because she is a student with an obligatory study requirement, or if she is a teacher teaching female students, or if she is a mother reading to her children at home, all of this is permissible and there is no blame in it. This is because there is no authentic, explicit text in the Sunnah that prevents a menstruating woman from reading the Qur'an. However, due to the disagreement among scholars on this matter, we say: Do not read the Qur'an except when there is a need for it, as in the examples we mentioned.
Based on this, we say: This woman who needs to read the Qur'an to feel at ease and sleep comfortably has no blame on her for reading the Qur'an at bedtime, because that is a need.

The questioner : May Allah bless you. The last question in the listener Hana Muhammad's letter says.
