The Shaykh : Our Lord, Mighty and Majestic, says: [Al-Anfal 8:60] , I claim that I understand from this verse something that it is not the custom of the exegetes to address, not because of their negligence, but because they were not in need at that time to clarify what I am now understanding. And there is no doubt that if I am understanding something, and I am the unpolished Albanian, then it is necessary that I know they were quicker to such an understanding than I, but they were not in need of clarifying it. As for us today, we have become in need of its clarification. Why? Because you find those who have not taken the first preparation, the preparation of faith, tawhid, the preparation of sincere and pure worship, and so on, who argue and say: [Al-Anfal 8:60] And we say, Allah has spoken the truth. But let us now reflect on this meaning that I want to mention, and I do not want to explain it because it is already explained. To whom is the address? Prepare, O Muslims, O believers in Allah truly. Are we such? If we have not reached the status that merits direct guidance and address, because we are not truly believers. And do we need to prove this which we deny? We are not in need; one verse is sufficient for all to convince them that they are not believers, for Allah, Mighty and Majestic, described the believers in His saying, the Exalted: [Muhammad 47:7] So from faith is that we support Allah, the Exalted, and we all know that the support of the Muslims or the believers for Allah is not support by strength, but support by faith and following what Allah has revealed. And the Muslims today are numerous in number, but the believers among them are fewer than few. The matter is as you know in the well-known authentic hadith, and it is his saying, peace and blessings be upon him: Sunan Abi Dawud 3462Sahih (Al-Albani) So if they prepare, O believers, where are the believers?
And prepare against them whatever you are able of power and of steeds of war by which you may terrify the enemy of Allah and your enemy
And prepare against them whatever you are able of power
وَأَعِدُّوا لَهُمْ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُمْ مِنْ قُوَّةٍAnd prepare against them
وَأَعِدُّوا لَهُمْif you support Allah, He will support you
إِنْ تَنْصُرُوا اللَّهَ يَنْصُرْكُمْWhen you enter into the inah transaction, hold the tails of oxen, are pleased with agriculture, and give up conducting jihad (struggle in the way of Allah). Allah will make disgrace prevail over you, and will not withdraw it until you return to your original religion.
