I performed three circuits of tawaf, then I broke off the tawaf in order to break my fast, and I have not completed it until now. Should I complete it?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Noble Shaykh, I performed three circuits of tawaf, then I broke off the tawaf in order to break my fast.

The Shaykh : For what reason?

The questioner : To break my fast, and I have not completed it until now. Should I complete it?

The Shaykh : If this is the case, this man says that he performed three circuits of tawaf, and the time for breaking the fast arrived, so he broke off the tawaf until now. Should he complete it now or not? We say that he cannot complete it now. Why? Because of the long interval between the parts of the tawaf. The tawaf must be continuous; it must be continuous. So, if he broke it off in a manner that is not in accordance with the Shari'ah, he must repeat it. However, what appears from the questioner's situation is that this tawaf was voluntary, not the tawaf of 'Umrah. If it was voluntary, there is no blame on him for breaking it off and not completing it. So we tell the brother: You have now broken it off for the sake of breaking your fast and left it until now, so there is no sin on you. But you have missed the reward of the tawaf, because the tawaf was not completed. Yes.
