Explaining the meaning of the saying of Allah the Exalted: "So that they may reflect upon its verses."

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : Then Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) explained the wisdom behind the revelation of this Qur'an, saying:
that they might reflect upon its verses and that those of understanding would be reminded. ليدبروا آياته وليتذكر أولوا الألباب
[Sad 38:29]
This is the wisdom behind its revelation, or this is the greatest of the wisdoms behind its revelation:
So that they may reflect upon its verses.أن يدبروا آياته
The meaning of "reflect upon them" is to contemplate them and turn them over in their minds until they understand their meaning. And in His saying:
So that they may reflect upon its verses. ليدبروا آياته
there is evidence that the verses of the Noble Book can be understood, and that there is nothing in the Qur'an that does not have a meaning; there is nothing in the Qur'an that does not have a meaning.
