The Fourth Benefit: The Prohibition of Raising One's Voice Above the Voice of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him).

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : In it is the prohibition of raising one's voice above the voice of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), which we derived from:
do not raise your voices above the voice of the Prophet لا ترفعوا أصواتكم فوق صوت النبي
[Al-Hujurat 49:2]
In it is a warning against this to the utmost degree, and that a person may have his deeds nullified by raising his voice above the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), based on His saying:
lest your deeds become worthless while you perceive not. أن تحبط أعمالكم وأنتم لا تشعرون
[Al-Hujurat 49:2]
