The Shaykh : This is the hadith of 'Ali ibn Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Musnad Ahmad 1246Sahih (Darussalam). This was because the confederates, who are the groups that banded together against the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and besieged the city, besieged the city for twenty-five nights or more.
