As Allah the Exalted said:

And your Lord has come and the angels, rank upon rank,

وجاء ربك والملك صفا صفا

[Al-Fajr 89:22]

And He the Exalted said:

And [mention] the Day when the heaven will split open with [emerging] clouds

ويوم تشقق السماء بالغمام

[Al-Furqan 25:25]

regarding the descent of Allah, Mighty and Majestic:

and the angels will be sent down in successive descent. ⁽²⁶⁾ True sovereignty, that Day, is for the Most Merciful. And it will be upon the disbelievers a difficult Day.
