Do the believers see their Lord on the Day of Resurrection when He comes to judge between the servants?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : When Allah comes to judge between the servants

The Shaykh : Yes

The questioner : ... Do the believers see Him?

The Shaykh : It is possible ... but the apparent view is that they do not see Him, because Allah the Exalted says:
Do they await but that Allah should come to them in covers of clouds and the angels هل ينظرون إلا أن يأتيهم الله في ظلل من الغمام والملائكة
[Al-Baqarah 2:210]
and He the Mighty and Majestic says:
And [mention] the Day when the heaven will split open with [emerging] clouds, and the angels will be sent down in successive descent. ويوم تشقق السماء بالغمام ونزل الملائكة تنزيلا
[Al-Furqan 25:25]
On the Day of Resurrection, the sky will split open with white, bright clouds, and the angels will descend. Then the Majestic, the Mighty and Majestic, will come in the shade of the clouds. This implies that they do not see Him. Yes.
