Love, faith, and belief are not *** exclusive, but rather two shared rights (Clarification of the shared rights between Allah and His Messenger)

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh :"Love, faith, and belief are not *** exclusive" to the Messenger or to Allah, but rather it is shared "but rather two shared rights"
Love, faith, and belief are for Allah and for the Messenger; it is obligatory for us to love each of them, to have faith in them, and to believe in them. But note that our love for the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) is a branch of our love for Allah. If he were not the Messenger of Allah, it would not be obligatory for us to love him, nor to have faith in him, nor to believe in him. So our love for him, our faith in him, and our belief in him are branches of the love of Allah, contrary to the extremists regarding the Messenger who hold that the love of Allah, faith in Him, and belief in Him are branches of the love of the Messenger. We have even heard some of them say that visiting Madinah is better than performing Hajj in Makkah, because they hold that the Messenger has a greater right than Allah. We seek refuge in Allah.
