As long as you are upon the truth, be firm, for the truth cannot be displaced. Be patient, and then defend. This is if you are in a state of weakness; there is no lower limit than defense. But if you are in a state of strength, you must attack. [Al-Anfal 8:39] And there is no doubt that people, since the world has existed, Allah alternates the days among them; sometimes they are in a state of strength and sometimes in a state of weakness, and for every state there is what is appropriate to it, what is appropriate to it. But the most important thing is that if you are in a state of weakness, you must be firm; do not be displaced from the truth. Do not say, "By Allah, everyone is contrary to that."
