The Meaning of the Poet's Saying: "And indeed He has forbidden us from making his grave *** a festival, fearing shirk (associating partners with Allah) with the Most Merciful, and he supplicated that the grave which *** contained him not be made an idol among the idols"

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : He says:
"And indeed He has forbidden us, and indeed He has forbidden us, from making his grave *** a festival, fearing shirk (associating partners with Allah) with the Most Merciful"
He said:
Do not take my grave as a festival لا تتخذوا قبري عيدا
Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 5:1006
Because if we take it as a festival, our return to it will become repeated, and that will become a cause for shirk (associating partners with Allah) with Him. Therefore, he said:
Do not take my grave as a festival لا تتخذوا قبري عيدا
Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 5:1006
(peace and blessings be upon him)
"And he supplicated" He supplicated to Allah "and he supplicated that the grave which *** contained him not be made an idol among the idols"
He said, (peace and blessings be upon him):
O Allah! Do not make my grave an idol that is worshipped. اللهم لا تجعل قبري وثنا يعبد
Muwatta Malik 9:93
Yes.
