Are there any Qur'anic verses or Prophetic hadiths that clarify that when Allah loves His servants, He tests them?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Your Eminence, are there any Qur'anic verses or noble Prophetic hadiths that clarify that when Allah loves His servants, He tests them? I ask you to clarify this for me, may you be rewarded.

The Shaykh : Hadiths have been reported on this, among them:
When Allah loves a people He tests them. Whoever accepts that wins His pleasure but whoever is discontent with that earns His wrath.
Sunan Ibn Majah 4031Hasan (Darussalam)
The established reality also indicates this, for Allah tested His prophets and messengers with great tribulations, until:
Narrated Anas ibn Malik: I had a hanging lock of hair. My mother said to me: I shall not cut it, for the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to stretch it our and hold it.
Sunan Abi Dawud 4196Da'if in chain (Al-Albani)
meaning: the fever would come upon him
Just as two of us would have a fever.
, and until he, peace and blessings be upon him, was harmed by his people and others with severe harm. For this reason, Allah the Exalted said:
And certainly were messengers denied before you, but they were patient over [the effects of] denial, and they were harmed until Our victory came to them. And none can alter the words of Allah
[Al-An'am 6:34]
And Allah the Exalted tested Ayyub until he said:
"Indeed, adversity has touched me, and you are the Most Merciful of the merciful." (84) So We responded to him and removed what afflicted him of adversity. And We gave him [back] his family and the like thereof with them
[Al-Anbya 21:83-84]
The stories in the Qur'an regarding this are numerous.
The people of Allah and His beloved ones, when Allah Mighty and Majestic tests them with something, they fulfill the function of this test by being patient and awaiting relief from Allah, and they seek the reward from Allah Mighty and Majestic. Consequently, they attain elevated ranks. It is known that tribulation requires patience, and that patience is a high station that is not attained except through the presence of the causes for which one is patient. Therefore, Allah Mighty and Majestic tests the messengers, prophets, and the righteous so that they may attain the rank of patience, and He guides them to patience so that they may attain the rank of the patient.

The questioner : May Allah bless you, O honorable Shaykh.
